You do not need to suffer in silence. Yes, it is true, things are not going to be the same after giving birth or after an injury, but there are things you can do to reduce symptoms to feel free and functional again. We offer corrective exercise programming in the gym or at home, holistic lifestyle coaching, strength and core training and movement assessments that will get you back feeling stronger and better than ever.
Are you a professional that would like to specialize in exercise treatment and programming for clients affected by pelvic floor dysfunction? Work one-on-one with Kerri or in a small group for intense education, hands-on learning and real-life case studies that will help you specialize in this area.
Does your medical staff, clinic staff, group of personal trainers, coaches, yoga instructors or physiotherapists need to know more about exercise selection with clients who are experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction? If your group deals with populations such as high performance athletes, moms, or the elderly, specific rehabilitation assessments, exercise selection, and programming are essential. Understanding the inner mechanisms of the core, the pelvis, organ placement and its relation to pressure will help your clients tremendously.
After the birth of her daughter Addyson in 2012, Kerri found herself with a series of symptoms related to pelvic floor dysfunction. After 16 years of being a pilates instructor, corrective exercise specialist and holistic lifestyle coach in the health and fitness industry, she seemed like the most unlikely person to have to go through such a thing. Organ prolapse, abdominal pain and incontinence, these are all symptoms that Kerri has researched and have found solutions to. Over the past 4 years Kerri has successfully rehabilitated her own pelvic floor, received a certification from Hypopressives Canada and has assisted many clients and professionals in this domain.
re:core is a company dedicated to opening up the conversation around issues such as incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and painful sex due to compression in the lower abdominal cavity in women as well as men. As professionals, we need to know how to have conversations with our patients and clients about these issues, have resources on hand and solutions in place to help them. Clients, you need to know that you are not alone and that we can help. re:core offers services for both clients and professionals.
Have you experienced: bladder leakage, urge incontinence, frequent urination, a hernia or painful intercourse? These are just a few of the many pelvic floor dysfunctions that affect our lives. Truth be told, many people simply “put up” with the symptoms possibly because they have never gotten the correct advice or are too embarrassed to ask. These symptoms affect our lifestyle and social interactions, our work outs, our sleep patterns and our sex lives.
This workshop is designed to help you better understand the importance of connecting with the true function of your core. Developing a healthy pelvic floor is much more than Kegels. In this workshop, we will spend time to fully comprehend the function of the core, then we will go straight down to the mat and get to work. We will explore individual breathing patterns, coordination of breath, stabilizing movements and leave you with a firm grasp on how to understand your pelvic floor.

The Hypopressive techniques were created in Europe by Dr. Marcel Caufriez in 1980, with the goal of helping postnatal women prevent and recover from pelvic floor dysfunctions such as incontinence and prolapse. The workshop will review the science behind the technique, the need for change in our approach to pelvic floor as well as a 1-hour practice (exercises and breathing methods).
This workshop is designed to build on the movement component of pelvic floor dysfunction. In Level 1, we addressed the root of core dysfunction and how learning proper breathing patterns are crucial to the healing process. In Level 2, we will dive in to movement. As humans we a designed to move dynamically; bend, twist, squat, lunge, push, pull, walk and run. Movement is essential for health and vitality. Yet, more often than not, we begin to withdraw from certain movements that contribute to our symptoms. In order to regain strength we must learn how the CORE works dynamically. Learn what everyday movement sequences typically challenge our systems and how to choose exercises that will be beneficial to healing.
